TAB BTA is a Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. aizawai, the biological insecticide product. The product toxin potency is 32,000 IU/mg (4%) WP
Registration permit: No. 665-2566 Department of Agriculture Thailand.
Mode of Action : When insects ingest toxin crystals, their alkaline digestive tracts denature the insoluble crystals, making them soluble and thus amenable to being cut with proteases found in the insect gut, which liberate the toxin from the crystal The Cry toxin is then inserted into the insect gut cell membrane, paralyzing the digestive tract and forming a pore. The insect stops eating 2 hours and death 1-2 days.
Target Pests : Agricultural crops use on caterpillars controls pest such as Plutella xylostella Linnaeus Spodoptera spp
Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) are important bacteria due to their production of insecticidal proteins as inclusion bodies during their sporulation phase of growth (de Maagd et al., 2003). The Cry toxins are “parasporal inclusion protein produced by Bt that exhibits pesticide activity or a toxic effect to a target organism that could be verifiable experimentally
Taget Pests : TAB BTA effectively controls most of the economically important pest such as Plutella xylostella larvae, Spodoptera spp Crops to be used including all types.
Dosage of Uses: Dilution at 80 gm per 20 liters of water. The spray to cover all plant during the late evening .It can be tank mixed with insecticide, foliar fertilizers, hormones and plant nutrients.
